Sura Ya Sin 36

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ
36:1 Ya Sin. Ya-seen يس
36:2 By the wise Qur'an, Waalqur-ani alhakeemi وَالْقُرْآنِ الْحَكِيمِ
36:3 Lo! thou art of those sent Innaka lamina almursaleena إِنَّكَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:4 On a straight path, AAala siratin mustaqeemin عَلَى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
36:5 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, Tanzeela alAAazeezi alrraheemi تَنزِيلَ الْعَزِيزِ الرَّحِيمِ
36:6 That thou mayst warn a folk whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. Litunthira qawman ma onthira abaohum fahum ghafiloona لِتُنذِرَ قَوْمًا مَّا أُنذِرَ آبَاؤُهُمْ فَهُمْ غَافِلُونَ
36:7 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. Laqad haqqa alqawlu AAala aktharihim fahum la yu/minoona لَقَدْ حَقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى أَكْثَرِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:8 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. Inna jaAAalna fee aAAnaqihim aghlalan fahiya ila al-athqani fahum muqmahoona إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا فِي أَعْنَاقِهِمْ أَغْلاَلاً فَهِيَ إِلَى الأَذْقَانِ فَهُم مُّقْمَحُونَ
36:9 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. WajaAAalna min bayni aydeehim saddan wamin khalfihim saddan faaghshaynahum fahum la yubsiroona وَجَعَلْنَا مِن بَيْنِ أَيْدِيهِمْ سَدًّا وَمِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ سَدًّا فَأَغْشَيْنَاهُمْ فَهُمْ لاَ يُبْصِرُونَ
36:10 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. Wasawaon AAalayhim aanthartahum am lam tunthirhum la yu/minoona وَسَوَاء عَلَيْهِمْ أَأَنذَرْتَهُمْ أَمْ لَمْ تُنذِرْهُمْ لاَ يُؤْمِنُونَ
36:11 Thou warnest only him who followeth the Reminder and feareth the Beneficent in secret. To him bear tidings of forgiveness and a rich reward. Innama tunthiru mani ittabaAAa alththikra wakhashiya alrrahmana bialghaybi fabashshirhu bimaghfiratin waajrin kareemin إِنَّمَا تُنذِرُ مَنِ اتَّبَعَ الذِّكْرَ وَخَشِيَ الرَّحْمَن بِالْغَيْبِ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَأَجْرٍ كَرِيمٍ
36:12 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. Inna nahnu nuhyee almawta wanaktubu ma qaddamoo waatharahum wakulla shay-in ahsaynahu fee imamin mubeenin إِنَّا نَحْنُ نُحْيِي الْمَوْتَى وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ أحْصَيْنَاهُ فِي إِمَامٍ مُبِينٍ
36:13 Coin for them a similitude: The people of the city when those sent (from Allah) came unto them; Waidrib lahum mathalan as-haba alqaryati ith jaaha almursaloona وَاضْرِبْ لَهُم مَّثَلاً أَصْحَابَ الْقَرْيَةِ إِذْ جَاءهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:14 When We sent unto them twain, and they denied them both, so We reinforced them with a third, and they said: Lo! we have been sent unto you. Ith arsalna ilayhimu ithnayni fakaththaboohuma faAAazzazna bithalithin faqaloo inna ilaykum mursaloona إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا إِلَيْهِمُ اثْنَيْنِ فَكَذَّبُوهُمَا فَعَزَّزْنَا بِثَالِثٍ فَقَالُوا إِنَّا إِلَيْكُم مُّرْسَلُونَ
36:15 They said: Ye are but mortals like unto us. The Beneficent hath naught revealed. Ye do but lie! Qaloo ma antum illa basharun mithluna wama anzala alrrahmanu min shay-in in antum illa takthiboona قَالُوا مَا أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُنَا وَمَا أَنزَلَ الرَّحْمن مِن شَيْءٍ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلاَّ تَكْذِبُونَ
36:16 They answered: Our Lord knoweth that we are indeed sent unto you, Qaloo rabbuna yaAAlamu inna ilaykum lamursaloona قَالُوا رَبُّنَا يَعْلَمُ إِنَّا إِلَيْكُمْ لَمُرْسَلُونَ
36:17 And our duty is but plain conveyance (of the message). Wama AAalayna illa albalaghu almubeenu وَمَا عَلَيْنَا إِلاَّ الْبَلاَغُ الْمُبِينُ
36:18 (The people of the city) said: We augur ill of you. If ye desist not, we shall surely stone you, and grievous torture will befall you at our hands. Qaloo inna tatayyarna bikum la-in lam tantahoo lanarjumannakum walayamassannakum minna AAathabun aleemun قَالُوا إِنَّا تَطَيَّرْنَا بِكُمْ لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهُوا لَنَرْجُمَنَّكُمْ وَلَيَمَسَّنَّكُم مِّنَّا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
36:19 They said: Your evil augury be with you! Is it because ye are reminded (of the truth) ? Nay, but ye are froward folk! Qaloo ta-irukum maAAakum a-in thukkirtum bal antum qawmun musrifoona قَالُوا طَائِرُكُمْ مَعَكُمْ أَئِن ذُكِّرْتُم بَلْ أَنتُمْ قَوْمٌ مُّسْرِفُونَ
36:20 And there came from the uttermost part of the city a man running. He cried: O my people! Follow those who have been sent! Wajaa min aqsa almadeenati rajulun yasAAa qala ya qawmi ittabiAAoo almursaleena وَجَاء مِنْ أَقْصَى الْمَدِينَةِ رَجُلٌ يَسْعَى قَالَ يَا قَوْمِ اتَّبِعُوا الْمُرْسَلِينَ
36:21 Follow those who ask of you no fee, and who are rightly guided. IttabiAAoo man la yas-alukum ajran wahum muhtadoona اتَّبِعُوا مَن لاَّ يَسْأَلُكُمْ أَجْرًا وَهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ
36:22 For what cause should I not serve Him Who hath created me, and unto Whom ye will be brought back ? Wama liya la aAAbudu allathee fataranee wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona وَمَا لِي لاَ أَعْبُدُ الَّذِي فَطَرَنِي وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
36:23 Shall I take (other) gods in place of Him when, if the Beneficent should wish me any harm, their intercession will avail me naught, nor can they save ? Aattakhithu min doonihi alihatan in yuridni alrrahmanu bidurrin la tughni AAannee shafaAAatuhum shay-an wala yunqithooni أَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِ آلِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ الرَّحْمَن بِضُرٍّ لاَّ تُغْنِ عَنِّي شَفَاعَتُهُمْ شَيْئًا وَلاَ يُنقِذُونِ
36:24 Then truly I should be in error manifest. Innee ithan lafee dalalin mubeenin إِنِّي إِذًا لَّفِي ضَلاَلٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:25 Lo! I have believed in your Lord, so hear me! Innee amantu birabbikum faismaAAooni إِنِّي آمَنتُ بِرَبِّكُمْ فَاسْمَعُونِ
36:26 It was said (unto him): Enter paradise. He said: Would that my people knew Qeela odkhuli aljannata qala ya layta qawmee yaAAlamoona قِيلَ ادْخُلِ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ يَا لَيْتَ قَوْمِي يَعْلَمُونَ
36:27 With what (munificence) my Lord hath pardoned me and made me of the honoured ones! Bima ghafara lee rabbee wajaAAalanee mina almukrameena بِمَا غَفَرَ لِي رَبِّي وَجَعَلَنِي مِنَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ
36:28 We sent not down against his people after him a host from heaven, nor do We ever send. Wama anzalna AAala qawmihi min baAAdihi min jundin mina alssama-i wama kunna munzileena وَمَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَى قَوْمِهِ مِن بَعْدِهِ مِنْ جُندٍ مِّنَ السَّمَاء وَمَا كُنَّا مُنزِلِينَ
36:29 It was but one Shout, and lo! they were extinct. In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan fa-itha hum khamidoona إِن كَانَتْ إِلاَّ صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَامِدُونَ
36:30 Ah, the anguish for the bondmen! Never came there unto them a messenger but they did mock him! Ya hasratan AAala alAAibadi ma ya/teehim min rasoolin illa kanoo bihi yastahzi-oona يَا حَسْرَةً عَلَى الْعِبَادِ مَا يَأْتِيهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلاَّ كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُون
36:31 Have they not seen how many generations We destroyed before them, which indeed returned not unto them; Alam yaraw kam ahlakna qablahum mina alqurooni annahum ilayhim la yarjiAAoona أَلَمْ يَرَوْا كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّنْ الْقُرُونِ أَنَّهُمْ إِلَيْهِمْ لاَ يَرْجِعُونَ
36:32 But all, without exception, will be brought before Us. Wa-in kullun lamma jameeAAun ladayna muhdaroona وَإِن كُلٌّ لَّمَّا جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:33 A token unto them is the dead earth. We revive it, and We bring forth from it grain so that they eat thereof; Waayatun lahumu al-ardu almaytatu ahyaynaha waakhrajna minha habban faminhu ya/kuloona وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمُ الْأَرْضُ الْمَيْتَةُ أَحْيَيْنَاهَا وَأَخْرَجْنَا مِنْهَا حَبًّا فَمِنْهُ يَأْكُلُونَ
36:34 And We have placed therein gardens of the date-palm and grapes, and We have caused springs of water to gush forth therein, WajaAAalna feeha jannatin min nakheelin waaAAnabin wafajjarna feeha mina alAAuyooni وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا جَنَّاتٍ مِن نَّخِيلٍ وَأَعْنَابٍ وَفَجَّرْنَا فِيهَا مِنْ الْعُيُونِ
36:35 That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands made it not. Will they not, then, give thanks ? Liya/kuloo min thamarihi wama AAamilat-hu aydeehim afala yashkuroona لِيَأْكُلُوا مِن ثَمَرِهِ وَمَا عَمِلَتْهُ أَيْدِيهِمْ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:36 Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not! Subhana allathee khalaqa al-azwaja kullaha mimma tunbitu al-ardu wamin anfusihim wamimma la yaAAlamoona سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ الْأَزْوَاجَ كُلَّهَا مِمَّا تُنبِتُ الْأَرْضُ وَمِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ وَمِمَّا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
36:37 A token unto them is night. We strip it of the day, and lo! they are in darkness. Waayatun lahumu allaylu naslakhu minhu alnnahara fa-itha hum muthlimoona وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ اللَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ النَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ
36:38 And the sun runneth on unto a resting-place for him. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Wise. Waalshshamsu tajree limustaqarrin laha thalika taqdeeru alAAazeezi alAAaleemi وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَّهَا ذَلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ
36:39 And for the moon We have appointed mansions till she return like an old shrivelled palm-leaf. Waalqamara qaddarnahu manazila hatta AAada kaalAAurjooni alqadeemi وَالْقَمَرَ قَدَّرْنَاهُ مَنَازِلَ حَتَّى عَادَ كَالْعُرْجُونِ الْقَدِيمِ
36:40 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor doth the night outstrip the day. They float each in an orbit. La alshshamsu yanbaghee laha an tudrika alqamara wala allaylu sabiqu alnnahari wakullun fee falakin yasbahoona لَا الشَّمْسُ يَنبَغِي لَهَا أَن تُدْرِكَ الْقَمَرَ وَلَا اللَّيْلُ سَابِقُ النَّهَارِ وَكُلٌّ فِي فَلَكٍ يَسْبَحُونَ
36:41 And a token unto them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship, Waayatun lahum anna hamalna thurriyyatahum fee alfulki almashhooni وَآيَةٌ لَّهُمْ أَنَّا حَمَلْنَا ذُرِّيَّتَهُمْ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ
36:42 And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride. Wakhalaqna lahum min mithlihi ma yarkaboona وَخَلَقْنَا لَهُم مِّن مِّثْلِهِ مَا يَرْكَبُونَ
36:43 And if We will, We drown them, and there is no help for them, neither can they be saved; Wa-in nasha/ nughriqhum fala sareekha lahum wala hum yunqathoona وَإِن نَّشَأْ نُغْرِقْهُمْ فَلَا صَرِيخَ لَهُمْ وَلَا هُمْ يُنقَذُونَ
36:44 Unless by mercy from Us and as comfort for a while. Illa rahmatan minna wamataAAan ila heenin إِلَّا رَحْمَةً مِّنَّا وَمَتَاعًا إِلَى حِينٍ
36:45 When it is said unto them: Beware of that which is before you and that which is behind you, that haply ye may find mercy (they are heedless). Wa-itha qeela lahumu ittaqoo ma bayna aydeekum wama khalfakum laAAallakum turhamoona وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّقُوا مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَمَا خَلْفَكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُرْحَمُونَ
36:46 Never came a token of the tokens of their Lord to them, but they did turn away from it! Wama ta/teehim min ayatin min ayati rabbihim illa kanoo AAanha muAArideena وَمَا تَأْتِيهِم مِّنْ آيَةٍ مِّنْ آيَاتِ رَبِّهِمْ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهَا مُعْرِضِينَ
36:47 And when it is said unto them: Spend of that wherewith Allah hath provided you, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Shall we feed those whom Allah, if He willed, would feed ? Ye are in naught else than error manifest. Wa-itha qeela lahum anfiqoo mimma razaqakumu Allahu qala allatheena kafaroo lillatheena amanoo anutAAimu man law yashao Allahu atAAamahu in antum illa fee dalalin mubeenin وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ أَنفِقُوا مِمَّا رَزَقَكُمْ اللَّهُ قَالَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنُطْعِمُ مَن لَّوْ يَشَاء اللَّهُ أَطْعَمَهُ إِنْ أَنتُمْ إِلَّا فِي ضَلَالٍ مُّبِينٍ
36:48 And they say: When will this promise be fulfilled, if ye are truthful ? Wayaqooloona mata hatha alwaAAdu in kuntum sadiqeena وَيَقُولُونَ مَتَى هَذَا الْوَعْدُ إِن كُنتُمْ صَادِقِينَ
36:49 They await but one Shout, which will surprise them while they are disputing. Ma yanthuroona illa sayhatan wahidatan ta/khuthuhum wahum yakhissimoona مَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ
36:50 Then they cannot make bequest, nor can they return to their own folk. Fala yastateeAAoona tawsiyatan wala ila ahlihim yarjiAAoona فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَا إِلَى أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
36:51 And the trumpet is blown and lo! from the graves they hie unto their Lord, Wanufikha fee alssoori fa-itha hum mina al-ajdathi ila rabbihim yansiloona وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ
36:52 Crying: Woe upon us! Who hath raised us from our place of sleep ? This is that which the Beneficent did promise, and the messengers spoke truth. Qaloo ya waylana man baAAathana min marqadina hatha ma waAAada alrrahmanu wasadaqa almursaloona قَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا مَن بَعَثَنَا مِن مَّرْقَدِنَا هَذَا مَا وَعَدَ الرَّحْمَنُ وَصَدَقَ الْمُرْسَلُونَ
36:53 It is but one Shout, and behold them brought together before Us! In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan fa-itha hum jameeAAun ladayna muhdaroona إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ جَمِيعٌ لَّدَيْنَا مُحْضَرُونَ
36:54 This day no soul is wronged in aught; nor are ye requited aught save what ye used to do. Faalyawma la tuthlamu nafsun shay-an wala tujzawna illa ma kuntum taAAmaloona فَالْيَوْمَ لَا تُظْلَمُ نَفْسٌ شَيْئًا وَلَا تُجْزَوْنَ إِلَّا مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ
36:55 Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed, Inna as-haba aljannati alyawma fee shughulin fakihoona إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ
36:56 They and their wives, in pleasant shade, on thrones reclining; Hum waazwajuhum fee thilalin AAala al-ara-iki muttaki-oona هُمْ وَأَزْوَاجُهُمْ فِي ظِلَالٍ عَلَى الْأَرَائِكِ مُتَّكِؤُونَ
36:57 Theirs the fruit (of their good deeds) and theirs (all) that they ask; Lahum feeha fakihatun walahum ma yaddaAAoona لَهُمْ فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَلَهُم مَّا يَدَّعُونَ
36:58 The word from a Merciful Lord (for them) is: Peace! Salamun qawlan min rabbin raheemin سَلَامٌ قَوْلًا مِن رَّبٍّ رَّحِيمٍ
36:59 But avaunt ye, O ye guilty, this day! Waimtazoo alyawma ayyuha almujrimoona وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
36:60 Did I not charge you, O ye sons of Adam, that ye worship not the devil - Lo! he is your open foe! - Alam aAAhad ilaykum ya banee adama an la taAAbudoo alshshaytana innahu lakum AAaduwwun mubeenun أَلَمْ أَعْهَدْ إِلَيْكُمْ يَا بَنِي آدَمَ أَن لَّا تَعْبُدُوا الشَّيْطَانَ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ
36:61 But that ye worship Me ? That was the right path. Waani oAAbudoonee hatha siratun mustaqeemun وَأَنْ اعْبُدُونِي هَذَا صِرَاطٌ مُّسْتَقِيمٌ
36:62 Yet he hath led astray of you a great multitude. Had ye then no sense ? Walaqad adalla minkum jibillan katheeran afalam takoonoo taAAqiloona وَلَقَدْ أَضَلَّ مِنكُمْ جِبِلًّا كَثِيراً أَفَلَمْ تَكُونُوا تَعْقِلُونَ
36:63 This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him). Hathihi jahannamu allatee kuntum tooAAadoona هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ
36:64 Burn therein this day for that ye disbelieved. Islawha alyawma bima kuntum takfuroona اصْلَوْهَا الْيَوْمَ بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْفُرُونَ
36:65 This day We seal up their mouths, and their hands speak out to Us and their feet bear witness as to what they used to earn. Alyawma nakhtimu AAala afwahihim watukallimuna aydeehim watashhadu arjuluhum bima kanoo yaksiboona الْيَوْمَ نَخْتِمُ عَلَى أَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَتُكَلِّمُنَا أَيْدِيهِمْ وَتَشْهَدُ أَرْجُلُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
36:66 And had We willed, We verily could have quenched their eyesight so that they should struggle for the way. Then how could they have seen ? Walaw nashao latamasna AAala aAAyunihim faistabaqoo alssirata faanna yubsiroona وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَطَمَسْنَا عَلَى أَعْيُنِهِمْ فَاسْتَبَقُوا الصِّرَاطَ فَأَنَّى يُبْصِرُونَ
36:67 And had We willed, We verily could have fixed them in their place, making them powerless to go forward or turn back. Walaw nashao lamasakhnahum AAala makanatihim fama istataAAoo mudiyyan wala yarjiAAoona وَلَوْ نَشَاء لَمَسَخْنَاهُمْ عَلَى مَكَانَتِهِمْ فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مُضِيًّا وَلَا يَرْجِعُونَ
36:68 He whom we bring unto old age, We reverse him in creation (making him go back to weakness after strength). Have ye then no sense ? Waman nuAAammirhu nunakkis-hu fee alkhalqi afala yaAAqiloona وَمَنْ نُعَمِّرْهُ نُنَكِّسْهُ فِي الْخَلْقِ أَفَلَا يَعْقِلُونَ
36:69 And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain, Wama AAallamnahu alshshiAAra wama yanbaghee lahu in huwa illa thikrun waqur-anun mubeenun وَمَا عَلَّمْنَاهُ الشِّعْرَ وَمَا يَنبَغِي لَهُ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ وَقُرْآنٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:70 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers. Liyunthira man kana hayyan wayahiqqa alqawlu AAala alkafireena لِيُنذِرَ مَن كَانَ حَيًّا وَيَحِقَّ الْقَوْلُ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
36:71 Have they not seen how We have created for them of Our handiwork the cattle, so that they are their owners, Awa lam yaraw anna khalaqna lahum mimma AAamilat aydeena anAAaman fahum laha malikoona أَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا أَنَّا خَلَقْنَا لَهُمْ مِمَّا عَمِلَتْ أَيْدِينَا أَنْعَامًا فَهُمْ لَهَا مَالِكُونَ
36:72 And have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding, some for food ? Wathallalnaha lahum faminha rakoobuhum waminha ya/kuloona وَذَلَّلْنَاهَا لَهُمْ فَمِنْهَا رَكُوبُهُمْ وَمِنْهَا يَأْكُلُونَ
36:73 Benefits and (divers) drinks have they from them. Will they not then give thanks ? Walahum feeha manafiAAu wamasharibu afala yashkuroona وَلَهُمْ فِيهَا مَنَافِعُ وَمَشَارِبُ أَفَلَا يَشْكُرُونَ
36:74 And they have taken (other) gods beside Allah, in order that they may be helped. Waittakhathoo min dooni Allahi alihatan laAAallahum yunsaroona وَاتَّخَذُوا مِن دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لَعَلَّهُمْ يُنصَرُونَ
36:75 It is not in their power to help them; but they (the worshippers) are unto them a host in arms. La yastateeAAoona nasrahum wahum lahum jundun muhdaroona لَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ نَصْرَهُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُمْ جُندٌ مُّحْضَرُونَ
36:76 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. Fala yahzunka qawluhum inna naAAlamu ma yusirroona wama yuAAlinoona فَلَا يَحْزُنكَ قَوْلُهُمْ إِنَّا نَعْلَمُ مَا يُسِرُّونَ وَمَا يُعْلِنُونَ
36:77 Hath not man seen that We have created him from a drop of seed ? Yet lo! he is an open opponent. Awa lam yara al-insanu anna khalaqnahu min nutfatin fa-itha huwa khaseemun mubeenun أَوَلَمْ يَرَ الْإِنسَانُ أَنَّا خَلَقْنَاهُ مِن نُّطْفَةٍ فَإِذَا هُوَ خَصِيمٌ مُّبِينٌ
36:78 And he hath coined for Us a similitude, and hath forgotten the fact of his creation, saying: Who will revive these bones when they have rotted away ? Wadaraba lana mathalan wanasiya khalqahu qala man yuhyee alAAithama wahiya rameemun وَضَرَبَ لَنَا مَثَلًا وَنَسِيَ خَلْقَهُ قَالَ مَنْ يُحْيِي الْعِظَامَ وَهِيَ رَمِيمٌ
36:79 Say: He will revive them Who produced them at the first, for He is Knower of every creation, Qul yuhyeeha allathee anshaaha awwala marratin wahuwa bikulli khalqin AAaleemun قُلْ يُحْيِيهَا الَّذِي أَنشَأَهَا أَوَّلَ مَرَّةٍ وَهُوَ بِكُلِّ خَلْقٍ عَلِيمٌ
36:80 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. Allathee jaAAala lakum mina alshshajari al-akhdari naran fa-itha antum minhu tooqidoona الَّذِي جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ الشَّجَرِ الْأَخْضَرِ نَارًا فَإِذَا أَنتُم مِّنْهُ تُوقِدُونَ
36:81 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them ? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, Awa laysa allathee khalaqa alssamawati waal-arda biqadirin AAala an yakhluqa mithlahum bala wahuwa alkhallaqu alAAaleemu أَوَلَيْسَ الَّذِي خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِقَادِرٍ عَلَى أَنْ يَخْلُقَ مِثْلَهُم بَلَى وَهُوَ الْخَلَّاقُ الْعَلِيمُ
36:82 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. Innama amruhu itha arada shay-an an yaqoola lahu kun fayakoonu إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
36:83 Therefor Glory be to Him in Whose hand is the dominion over all things! Unto Him ye will be brought back. Fasubhana allathee biyadihi malakootu kulli shay-in wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ
