Sura Al Lail 92

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi
92:1 By the night enshrouding Waallayli itha yaghsha
92:2 And the day resplendent Waalnnahari itha tajalla
92:3 And Him Who hath created male and female, Wama khalaqa alththakara waal-ontha
92:4 Lo! your effort is dispersed (toward divers ends). Inna saAAyakum lashatta
92:5 As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) Faamma man aAAta waittaqa
92:6 And believeth in goodness; Wasaddaqa bialhusna
92:7 Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. Fasanuyassiruhu lilyusra
92:8 But as for him who hoardeth and deemeth himself independent, Waamma man bakhila waistaghna
92:9 And disbelieveth in goodness; Wakaththaba bialhusna
92:10 Surely We will ease his way unto adversity. Fasanuyassiruhu lilAAusra
92:11 His riches will not save him when he perisheth. Wama yughnee AAanhu maluhu itha taradda
92:12 Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance Inna AAalayna lalhuda
92:13 And lo! unto Us belong the latter portion and the former. Wa-inna lana lal-akhirata waal-oola
92:14 Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire Faanthartukum naran talaththa
92:15 Which only the most wretched must endure, La yaslaha illa al-ashqa
92:16 He who denieth and turneth away. Allathee kaththaba watawalla
92:17 Far removed from it will be the righteous Wasayujannabuha al-atqa
92:18 Who giveth his wealth that he may grow (in goodness). Allathee yu/tee malahu yatazakka
92:19 And none hath with him any favour for reward, Wama li-ahadin AAindahu min niAAmatin tujza
92:20 Except as seeking (to fulfil) the purpose of his Lord Most High. Illa ibtighaa wajhi rabbihi al-aAAla
92:21 He verily will be content. Walasawfa yarda
