Sura Az Zariyat 51

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ
51:1 By those that winnow with a winnowing Waalththariyati tharwan وَالذَّارِيَاتِ ذَرْوًا
51:2 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) Faalhamilati wiqran فَالْحَامِلَاتِ وِقْرًا
51:3 And those that glide with ease (upon the sea) Faaljariyati yusran فَالْجَارِيَاتِ يُسْرًا
51:4 And those who distribute (blessings) by command, Faalmuqassimati amran فَالْمُقَسِّمَاتِ أَمْرًا
51:5 Lo! that wherewith ye are threatened is indeed true, Innama tooAAadoona lasadiqun إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌ
51:6 And lo! the judgment will indeed befall. Wa-inna alddeena lawaqiAAun وَإِنَّ الدِّينَ لَوَاقِعٌ
51:7 By the heaven full of paths, Waalssama-i thati alhubuki وَالسَّمَاء ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ
51:8 Lo! ye, forsooth, are of various opinion (concerning the truth). Innakum lafee qawlin mukhtalifin إِنَّكُمْ لَفِي قَوْلٍ مُّخْتَلِفٍ
51:9 He is made to turn away from it who is (himself) averse. Yu/faku AAanhu man ofika يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ
51:10 Accursed be the conjecturers Qutila alkharrasoona قُتِلَ الْخَرَّاصُونَ
51:11 Who are careless in an abyss! Allatheena hum fee ghamratin sahoona الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي غَمْرَةٍ سَاهُونَ
51:12 They ask: When is the Day of Judgment ? Yas-aloona ayyana yawmu alddeeni يَسْأَلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ الدِّينِ
51:13 (It is) the day when they will be tormented at the Fire, Yawma hum AAala alnnari yuftanoona يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى النَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ
51:14 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. Thooqoo fitnatakum hatha allathee kuntum bihi tastaAAjiloona ذُوقُوا فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَذَا الَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
51:15 Lo! those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and watersprings, Inna almuttaqeena fee jannatin waAAuyoonin إِنَّ الْمُتَّقِينَ فِي جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ
51:16 Taking that which their Lord giveth them; for lo! aforetime they were doers of good; Akhitheena ma atahum rabbuhum innahum kanoo qabla thalika muhsineena آخِذِينَ مَا آتَاهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ
51:17 They used to sleep but little of the night, Kanoo qaleelan mina allayli ma yahjaAAoona كَانُوا قَلِيلًا مِّنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ
51:18 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, Wabial-ashari hum yastaghfiroona وَبِالْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
51:19 And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share. Wafee amwalihim haqqun lilssa-ili waalmahroomi وَفِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ
51:20 And in the earth are portents for those whose faith is sure. Wafee al-ardi ayatun lilmooqineena وَفِي الْأَرْضِ آيَاتٌ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ
51:21 And (also) in yourselves. Can ye then not see ? Wafee anfusikum afala tubsiroona وَفِي أَنفُسِكُمْ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ
51:22 And in the heaven is your providence and that which ye are promised; Wafee alssama-i rizqukum wama tooAAadoona وَفِي السَّمَاء رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ
51:23 And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak. Fawarabbi alssama-i waal-ardi innahu lahaqqun mithla ma annakum tantiqoona فَوَرَبِّ السَّمَاء وَالْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُ لَحَقٌّ مِّثْلَ مَا أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ
51:24 Hath the story of Abraham's honoured guests reached thee (O Muhammad) ? Hal ataka hadeethu dayfi ibraheema almukrameena هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْمُكْرَمِينَ
51:25 When they came in unto him and said: Peace! he answered, Peace! (and thought): Folk unknown (to me). Ith dakhaloo AAalayhi faqaloo salaman qala salamun qawmun munkaroona إِذْ دَخَلُوا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا سَلَامًا قَالَ سَلَامٌ قَوْمٌ مُّنكَرُونَ
51:26 Then he went apart unto his housefolk so that they brought a fatted calf; Faragha ila ahlihi fajaa biAAijlin sameenin فَرَاغَ إِلَى أَهْلِهِ فَجَاء بِعِجْلٍ سَمِينٍ
51:27 And he set it before them, saying: Will ye not eat ? Faqarrabahu ilayhim qala ala ta/kuloona فَقَرَّبَهُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ
51:28 Then he conceived a fear of them. They said: Fear not! and gave him tidings of (the birth of) a wise son. Faawjasa minhum kheefatan qaloo la takhaf wabashsharoohu bighulamin AAaleemin فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةً قَالُوا لَا تَخَفْ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَامٍ عَلِيمٍ
51:29 Then his wife came forward, making moan, and smote her face, and cried: A barren old woman! Faaqbalati imraatuhu fee sarratin fasakkat wajhaha waqalat AAajoozun AAaqeemun فَأَقْبَلَتِ امْرَأَتُهُ فِي صَرَّةٍ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌ
51:30 They said: Even so saith thy Lord. Lo! He is the Wise, the Knower. Qaloo kathaliki qala rabbuki innahu huwa alhakeemu alAAaleemu قَالُوا كَذَلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكِ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْحَكِيمُ الْعَلِيمُ
51:31 (Abraham) said: And (afterward) what is your errand, O ye sent (from Allah) ? Qala fama khatbukum ayyuha almursaloona قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا الْمُرْسَلُونَ
51:32 They said: Lo! we are sent unto a guilty folk, Qaloo inna orsilna ila qawmin mujrimeena قَالُوا إِنَّا أُرْسِلْنَا إِلَى قَوْمٍ مُّجْرِمِينَ
51:33 That we may send upon them stones of clay, Linursila AAalayhim hijaratan min teenin لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةً مِّن طِينٍ
51:34 Marked by thy Lord for (the destruction of) the wanton. Musawwamatan AAinda rabbika lilmusrifeena مُسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ
51:35 Then we brought forth such believers as were there. Faakhrajna man kana feeha mina almu/mineena فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
51:36 But We found there but one house of those surrendered (to Allah). Fama wajadna feeha ghayra baytin mina almuslimeena فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍ مِّنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
51:37 And We left behind therein a portent for those who fear a painful doom. Watarakna feeha ayatan lillatheena yakhafoona alAAathaba al-aleema وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَا آيَةً لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ الْعَذَابَ الْأَلِيمَ
51:38 And in Moses (too, there is a portent) when We sent him unto Pharaoh with clear warrant, Wafee moosa ith arsalnahu ila firAAawna bisultanin mubeenin وَفِي مُوسَى إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَاهُ إِلَى فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَانٍ مُّبِينٍ
51:39 But he withdrew (confiding) in his might, and said: A wizard or a madman. Fatawalla biruknihi waqala sahirun aw majnoonun فَتَوَلَّى بِرُكْنِهِ وَقَالَ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
51:40 So We seized him and his hosts and flung them in the sea, for he was reprobate. Faakhathnahu wajunoodahu fanabathnahum fee alyammi wahuwa muleemun فَأَخَذْنَاهُ وَجُنُودَهُ فَنَبَذْنَاهُمْ فِي الْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ
51:41 And in (the tribe of) A'ad (there is a portent) when we sent the fatal wind against them. Wafee AAadin ith arsalna AAalayhimu alrreeha alAAaqeema وَفِي عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ الرِّيحَ الْعَقِيمَ
51:42 It spared naught that it reached, but made it (all) as dust. Ma tatharu min shay-in atat AAalayhi illa jaAAalat-hu kaalrrameemi مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَيْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَالرَّمِيمِ
51:43 And in (the tribe of) Thamud (there is a portent) when it was told them: Take your ease awhile. Wafee thamooda ith qeela lahum tamattaAAoo hatta heenin وَفِي ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا حَتَّى حِينٍ
51:44 But they rebelled against their Lord's decree, and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed; FaAAataw AAan amri rabbihim faakhathat-humu alssaAAiqatu wahum yanthuroona فَعَتَوْا عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ
51:45 And they were unable to rise up, nor could they help themselves. Fama istataAAoo min qiyamin wama kanoo muntasireena فَمَا اسْتَطَاعُوا مِن قِيَامٍ وَمَا كَانُوا مُنتَصِرِينَ
51:46 And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk. Waqawma noohin min qablu innahum kanoo qawman fasiqeena وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ
51:47 We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). Waalssamaa banaynaha bi-aydin wa-inna lamoosiAAoona وَالسَّمَاء بَنَيْنَاهَا بِأَيْدٍ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ
51:48 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! Waal-arda farashnaha faniAAma almahidoona وَالْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَاهَا فَنِعْمَ الْمَاهِدُونَ
51:49 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. Wamin kulli shay-in khalaqna zawjayni laAAallakum tathakkaroona وَمِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ
51:50 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. Fafirroo ila Allahi innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللَّهِ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51:51 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. Wala tajAAaloo maAAa Allahi ilahan akhara innee lakum minhu natheerun mubeenun وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ إِلَهًا آخَرَ إِنِّي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ
51:52 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! Kathalika ma ata allatheena min qablihim min rasoolin illa qaloo sahirun aw majnoonun كَذَلِكَ مَا أَتَى الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ
51:53 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another ? Nay, but they are froward folk. Atawasaw bihi bal hum qawmun taghoona أَتَوَاصَوْا بِهِ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌ طَاغُونَ
51:54 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), for thou art in no wise blameworthy, Fatawalla AAanhum fama anta bimaloomin فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَا أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍ
51:55 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. Wathakkir fa-inna alththikra tanfaAAu almu/mineena وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ الذِّكْرَى تَنفَعُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
51:56 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. Wama khalaqtu aljinna waal-insa illa liyaAAbudooni وَمَا خَلَقْتُ الْجِنَّ وَالْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ
51:57 I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. Ma oreedu minhum min rizqin wama oreedu an yutAAimooni مَا أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍ وَمَا أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ
51:58 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. Inna Allaha huwa alrrazzaqu thoo alquwwati almateenu إِنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الرَّزَّاقُ ذُو الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينُ
51:59 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). Fa-inna lillatheena thalamoo thanooban mithla thanoobi as-habihim fala yastaAAjiloona فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا ذَنُوبًا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَابِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ
51:60 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. Fawaylun lillatheena kafaroo min yawmihimu allathee yooAAadoona فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن يَوْمِهِمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
