Sura At Takwir 81

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ
81:1 When the sun is overthrown, Itha alshshamsu kuwwirat إِذَا الشَّمْسُ كُوِّرَتْ
81:2 And when the stars fall, Wa-itha alnnujoomu inkadarat وَإِذَا النُّجُومُ انكَدَرَتْ
81:3 And when the hills are moved, Wa-itha aljibalu suyyirat وَإِذَا الْجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتْ
81:4 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, Wa-itha alAAisharu AAuttilat وَإِذَا الْعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتْ
81:5 And when the wild beasts are herded together, Wa-itha alwuhooshu hushirat وَإِذَا الْوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتْ
81:6 And when the seas rise, Wa-itha albiharu sujjirat وَإِذَا الْبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتْ
81:7 And when souls are reunited, Wa-itha alnnufoosu zuwwijat وَإِذَا النُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتْ
81:8 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked Wa-itha almawoodatu su-ilat وَإِذَا الْمَوْؤُودَةُ سُئِلَتْ
81:9 For what sin she was slain, Bi-ayyi thanbin qutilat بِأَيِّ ذَنبٍ قُتِلَتْ
81:10 And when the pages are laid open, Wa-itha alssuhufu nushirat وَإِذَا الصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتْ
81:11 And when the sky is torn away, Wa-itha alssamao kushitat وَإِذَا السَّمَاء كُشِطَتْ
81:12 And when hell is lighted, Wa-itha aljaheemu suAAAAirat وَإِذَا الْجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتْ
81:13 And when the Garden is brought nigh, Wa-itha aljannatu ozlifat وَإِذَا الْجَنَّةُ أُزْلِفَتْ
81:14 (Then) every soul will know what it hath made ready. AAalimat nafsun ma ahdarat عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌ مَّا أَحْضَرَتْ
81:15 Oh, but I call to witness the planets, Fala oqsimu bialkhunnasi فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِالْخُنَّسِ
81:16 The stars which rise and set, Aljawari alkunnasi الْجَوَارِ الْكُنَّسِ
81:17 And the close of night, Waallayli itha AAasAAasa وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا عَسْعَسَ
81:18 And the breath of morning Waalssubhi itha tanaffasa وَالصُّبْحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
81:19 That this is in truth the word of an honoured messenger, Innahu laqawlu rasoolin kareemin إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ
81:20 Mighty, established in the presence of the Lord of the Throne, Thee quwwatin AAinda thee alAAarshi makeenin ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي الْعَرْشِ مَكِينٍ
81:21 (One) to be obeyed, and trustworthy; MutaAAin thamma ameenin مُطَاعٍ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ
81:22 And your comrade is not mad. Wama sahibukum bimajnoonin وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجْنُونٍ
81:23 Surely he beheld Him on the clear horizon. Walaqad raahu bialofuqi almubeeni وَلَقَدْ رَآهُ بِالْأُفُقِ الْمُبِينِ
81:24 And he is not avid of the Unseen. Wama huwa AAala alghaybi bidaneenin وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى الْغَيْبِ بِضَنِينٍ
81:25 Nor is this the utterance of a devil worthy to be stoned. Wama huwa biqawli shaytanin rajeemin وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَيْطَانٍ رَجِيمٍ
81:26 Whither then go ye ? Faayna tathhaboona فَأَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ
81:27 This is naught else than a reminder unto creation, In huwa illa thikrun lilAAalameena إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌ لِّلْعَالَمِينَ
81:28 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight. Liman shaa minkum an yastaqeema لِمَن شَاء مِنكُمْ أَن يَسْتَقِيمَ
81:29 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation. Wama tashaoona illa an yashaa Allahu rabbu alAAalameena وَمَا تَشَاؤُونَ إِلَّا أَن يَشَاء اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَالَمِينَ
