Sura Ar Rahman 55

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful. Bismi Allahi alrrahmani alrraheemi بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِِ
55:1 The Beneficent Alrrahmanu الرَّحْمَنُ
55:2 Hath made known the Qur'an. AAallama alqur-ana عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ
55:3 He hath created man. Khalaqa al-insana خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ
55:4 He hath taught him utterance. AAallamahu albayana عَلَّمَهُ الْبَيَانَ
55:5 The sun and the moon are made punctual. Alshshamsu waalqamaru bihusbanin الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍ
55:6 The stars and the trees adore. Waalnnajmu waalshshajaru yasjudani وَالنَّجْمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِ
55:7 And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure, Waalssamaa rafaAAaha wawadaAAa almeezana وَالسَّمَاء رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِيزَانَ
55:8 That ye exceed not the measure, Alla tatghaw fee almeezani أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا فِي الْمِيزَانِ
55:9 But observe the measure strictly, nor fall short thereof. Waaqeemoo alwazna bialqisti wala tukhsiroo almeezana وَأَقِيمُوا الْوَزْنَ بِالْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا الْمِيزَانَ
55:10 And the earth hath He appointed for (His) creatures, Waal-arda wadaAAaha lil-anami وَالْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِ
55:11 Wherein are fruit and sheathed palm-trees, Feeha fakihatun waalnnakhlu thatu al-akmami فِيهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَالنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ الْأَكْمَامِ
55:12 Husked grain and scented herb. Waalhabbu thoo alAAasfi waalrrayhani وَالْحَبُّ ذُو الْعَصْفِ وَالرَّيْحَانُ
55:13 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:14 He created man of clay like the potter's, Khalaqa al-insana min salsalin kaalfakhkhari خَلَقَ الْإِنسَانَ مِن صَلْصَالٍ كَالْفَخَّارِ
55:15 And the jinn did He create of smokeless fire. Wakhalaqa aljanna min marijin min narin وَخَلَقَ الْجَانَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍ
55:16 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:17 Lord of the two Easts, and Lord of the two Wests! Rabbu almashriqayni warabbu almaghribayni رَبُّ الْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ الْمَغْرِبَيْنِ
55:18 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:19 He hath loosed the two seas. They meet. Maraja albahrayni yaltaqiyani مَرَجَ الْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
55:20 There is a barrier between them. They encroach not (one upon the other). Baynahuma barzakhun la yabghiyani بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ
55:21 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:22 There cometh forth from both of them the pearl and coral-stone. Yakhruju minhuma allu/luo waalmarjanu يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا اللُّؤْلُؤُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ
55:23 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:24 His are the ships displayed upon the sea, like banners. Walahu aljawari almunshaatu fee albahri kaal-aAAlami وَلَهُ الْجَوَارِ الْمُنشَآتُ فِي الْبَحْرِ كَالْأَعْلَامِ
55:25 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:26 Everyone that is thereon will pass away; Kullu man AAalayha fanin كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ
55:27 There remaineth but the Countenance of thy Lord of Might and Glory. Wayabqa wajhu rabbika thoo aljalali waal-ikrami وَيَبْقَى وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
55:28 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:29 All that are in the heavens and the earth entreat Him. Every day He exerciseth (universal) power. Yas-aluhu man fee alssamawati waal-ardi kulla yawmin huwa fee sha/nin يَسْأَلُهُ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِي شَأْنٍ
55:30 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:31 We shall dispose of you, O ye two dependents (man and jinn). Sanafrughu lakum ayyuha alththaqalani سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَا الثَّقَلَانِ
55:32 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:33 O company of jinn and men, if ye have power to penetrate (all) regions of the heavens and the earth, then penetrate (them)! Ye will never penetrate them save with (Our) sanction. Ya maAAshara aljinni waal-insi ini istataAAtum an tanfuthoo min aqtari alssamawati waal-ardi faonfuthoo la tanfuthoona illa bisultanin يَا مَعْشَرَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنسِ إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا مِنْ أَقْطَارِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَانفُذُوا لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَانٍ
55:34 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:35 There will be sent, against you both, heat of fire and flash of brass, and ye will not escape. Yursalu AAalaykuma shuwathun min narin wanuhasun fala tantasirani يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِ
55:36 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:37 And when the heaven splitteth asunder and becometh rosy like red hide - Fa-itha inshaqqati alssamao fakanat wardatan kaalddihani فَإِذَا انشَقَّتِ السَّمَاء فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَالدِّهَانِ
55:38 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? - Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:39 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. Fayawma-ithin la yus-alu AAan thanbihi insun wala jannun فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذَنبِهِ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَانٌّ
55:40 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:41 The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feet. YuAArafu almujrimoona biseemahum fayu/khathu bialnnawasee waal-aqdami يُعْرَفُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَاهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِي وَالْأَقْدَامِ
55:42 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:43 This is hell which the guilty deny. Hathihi jahannamu allatee yukaththibu biha almujrimoona هَذِهِ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِي يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
55:44 They go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water. Yatoofoona baynaha wabayna hameemin anin يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ آنٍ
55:45 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:46 But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. Waliman khafa maqama rabbihi jannatani وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ
55:47 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:48 Of spreading branches. Thawata afnanin ذَوَاتَا أَفْنَانٍ
55:49 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:50 Wherein are two fountains flowing. Feehima AAaynani tajriyani فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِ
55:51 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:52 Wherein is every kind of fruit in pairs. Feehima min kulli fakihatin zawjani فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِ
55:53 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:54 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. Muttaki-eena AAala furushin bata-inuha min istabraqin wajana aljannatayni danin مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَى فُرُشٍ بَطَائِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ وَجَنَى الْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍ
55:55 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:56 Therein are those of modest gaze, whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them. Feehinna qasiratu alttarfi lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun فِيهِنَّ قَاصِرَاتُ الطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ
55:57 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:58 (In beauty) like the jacynth and the coral-stone. Kaannahunna alyaqootu waalmarjanu كَأَنَّهُنَّ الْيَاقُوتُ وَالْمَرْجَانُ
55:59 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:60 Is the reward of goodness aught save goodness ? Hal jazao al-ihsani illa al-ihsanu هَلْ جَزَاء الْإِحْسَانِ إِلَّا الْإِحْسَانُ
55:61 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:62 And beside them are two other gardens, Wamin doonihima jannatani وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ
55:63 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:64 Dark green with foliage. Mudhammatani مُدْهَامَّتَانِ
55:65 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:66 Wherein are two abundant springs. Feehima AAaynani naddakhatani فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ نَضَّاخَتَانِ
55:67 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:68 Wherein is fruit, the date-palm and pomegranate. Feehima fakihatun wanakhlun warummanun فِيهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَنَخْلٌ وَرُمَّانٌ
55:69 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:70 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - Feehinna khayratun hisanun فِيهِنَّ خَيْرَاتٌ حِسَانٌ
55:71 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? - Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:72 Fair ones, close-guarded in pavilions - Hoorun maqsooratun fee alkhiyami حُورٌ مَّقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ
55:73 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? - Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:74 Whom neither man nor jinni will have touched before them - Lam yatmithhunna insun qablahum wala jannun لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَانٌّ
55:75 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:76 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. Muttaki-eena AAala rafrafin khudrin waAAabqariyyin hisanin مُتَّكِئِينَ عَلَى رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ
55:77 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny ? Fabi-ayyi ala-i rabbikuma tukaththibani فَبِأَيِّ آلَاء رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِ
55:78 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! Tabaraka ismu rabbika thee aljalali waal-ikrami تَبَارَكَ اسْمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
